Worth A Princess' Ransom Story Detail
The Princess of a foreign country comes to Tokyo to show off the Royal Jewel. Queen Beryl suggests Neflite investigate it, since it might be the Silver Crystal. Zoicite burns at being left out of the decision. Luna suggests to the Scouts that the Princess may be the missing Moon Princess and that they should check it out. Serena's father, Kenji, is there taking pictures for the magazine he works for, while Molly and her mother are at the reception because of her mother's fame as a jeweler. Molly is pining for Maxfield Stanton, whom she is more infatuated with. Darien wakes up in his bed after having a vision of the Moon Princess in his dream, begging him to find the Silver Crystal. Serena disguises herself as a guest with the Disguise Pen and dances with a guest. She senses it may be Tuxedo Mask. Neflite uses Molly, hypnotizing her into his service, to get to the Princess and infect her with a mystic symbol. Luna gets wind of it and tells Serena. Tuxedo Mask tries to get the gem from the Princess, to Serena's amazement. From a balcony, The Princess tosses the gem to Neflite in the garden, but he finds it isn't the Silver Crystal. Serena tries to stop it and slips over the railing of the balcony, but is grabbed by Tuxedo Mask. The Princess turns into a monster. Serena sneaks off and, as Sailor Moon, returns her to normal. Molly recovers and misses Maxfield more than ever. Serena and Luna wonder if Tuxedo Mask is actually on their side.
