Synopsis for the TV Cartoon So You Want To Be A Superstar

Melvin tells Serena and Molly about a talent contest being held, with the winner promised a chance to be an international superstar. Serena and Molly immediately plan to enter as a singing duo. However their rehearsal goes poorly, due to Serena's clumsiness and lack of singing talent. They get into a fight and split up. Molly recruits Melvin, dressed in drag, as her new partner while Serena tries to train Luna to perform tricks like the trained monkey she saw on television. When Luna refuses, Serena is out of the contest, but she goes anyway. Watching the contestants suddenly faint, Serena and Luna discover the contest is another energy-leeching scheme of Jadeite's. In the confrontation, Sailor Moon is nearly frozen by Jadeite's monster, but Tuxedo Mask intercedes and saves her, allowing her to destroy the monster with her tiara, foiling Jadeite again.
