As Portia and Bingo rehearse for the school play, Montgomery fools with a chemistry set, and he accidentally creates a formula which suspends gravity. Believing the formula will make him rich, Bingo takes off with a sample before the rest of the Gang finds out that the formula only works temporarily. Bingo tries to sell the formula to the owner of an airplane company, Mr. Stewart; however, he is at the rehearsal for the school play. During the performance, Bingo uses Portia to demonstrate the formula for Stewart. He is so impressed that he and Bingo try the formula to get back to his office. Moments later, Bingo learns that the formula works only temporarily, as he and Stewart suddenly fall into a pond.
