The speedy Dash Card manages to elude Sakura's pursuit, but, injured, is taken in as a pet by Sakura's schoolmate Jessie. Appreciative of Jessie's kindness, the Dash Card helps Jessie's running improve, and she ends up qualifying for the big interscholastic track meet. Sakura's cohorts urge her to capture the Dash Card before its strength returns, but she doesn't want her friend to lose the big race.
