Cartoon Synopsis:

For Mother's Day, Hans and Fritz buy Mama a hat. They fall off the sidewalk and drop the maternal millinery into dirty water. They notice a horse trying on a new hat and swipe it off its head. A chase ensues, but the boys outrace the horse. Mama loves her present and goes out to show it off to Mrs. Hamburger. The horse pursues her into the house, where it manages to glue a fan to its rear end and transform itself into an aerial pony express. Everyone gets entangled and lands up on the laundry carousel with the hat just out of reach.
