Cartoon Summary:

The film starts with the hare being taken into custody. In the police station, he recounts the various ways he tried to stop the tortoise (burying him alive, felling the bridge he's crossing, posting him to Hawaii, blowing him up). But the steady tortoise keeps on plodding his way to the finish line. When the hare puts on a final spurt to overtake the tortoise at the finish line, he is arrested for speeding by the dog traffic cop, allowing the tortoise to win.
