Cartoon Synopsis:

Master thief Lupin III and his right-handed gunman Jigen are hot on the trail of a counterfeiter who has swindled them. Their search leads them to the secluded European country of Cagliostro, where they find more than they bargained for. Lupin unwittingly attracts the attention of the nation's mysterious monarch, the evil Count Cagliostro, when he tries to help a damsel in distress escape and, in the process, stumbles upon the key to find the lost fortune of the Cagliostro clan.
