Synopsis for the Theatrical Cartoon Slap Happy Hunters

After a beautiful montage featuring the gentle animals of the forest, Gandy and Sourpuss invade this bucolic scene in their canoe, and proceed to shoot deer, birds and anything else that moves (remember, this was SOURPUSS' idea- Gandy is only there for moral support and comic relief). Eventually, the "Wise Old Owl" calls a general meeting of all the forest animals ('DOWN WITH HUNTERS' reads one protest sign), and asks for volunteers to rid their domain of those pesky hunters. The mosquito faction ["I'll do it!"] eagerly agrees {when just about everyone else finds an excuse NOT to}, and proceed to attack Gandy and Sourpuss in their tent at night.... the result ends in that classic "Spirit of '76"
