Cartoon Synopsis:
Bunny and Claude catch the 5:15 train at 4:15 from the train station. The sheriff hears about it by phone, and tries to board the train. But when he hides in a barrel, Claude shuts him in there and throws him off. The sheriff tries to catch up by handcar, but Claude uncouples the boxcar containing carrots on a hill. The handcar is destroyed, but the sheriff catches up by a dumb horse. Bunny and Claude are just emptying the boxcar of its load of carrots, when the sheriff approaches. As the sheriff reads the outlaw rabbits' rights, the stupid horse "eats the evidence." While the sheriff scolds the horse, Bunny and Claude escape by automobile.
