Synopsis for the Return Of A Friend

Dan is haunted by dreams of his defeat at the hands of Gus, the Vexos Number Two Brawler. So when a taunting hologram of Gus appears and challenges him to a rematch, Dan accepts, even though he knows it s a trap. As Mira tries to convince Ace they should locate her brother and ask him to join the Resistance, Dan and Drago steal a gauntlet and sneak off. Gus defeats Dan easily in the first round, and Dan repays him in kind in round two. But when Spectra himself takes over Gus battle, Dan is in for the fight of his life. It looks like Dan is going to lose Drago for good when a surprising ally appears Shun! Together with his old friend, Dan defeats Spectra, who is surprisingly unperturbed. He just wanted to see if Drago was still able to tap into the power of the Perfect Core. Shun reveals that he fell into a dimensional Rift and found himself in New Vestroia.
