Captain Cutler!

This revelation, along with the proclamation in "What a Night for a Knight" of "Professor Hyde White!" pretty much cinched the Mystery Machine gang for being serious business when it came to solving the mysteries.
They always got their man in the end, that's for sure, no matter how often they would be called meddling kids.
This would be one of the few episodes when the kids would be out of their trademark attire and would instead be wearing diving gear; the other show being "That's Snow Ghost" when they wore coats, hats and earmuffs.
As a kid, I can say the ghostly diver did stand as one of the more frightening ghosts, mainly for his eerie arrival music.
