This is one of the best T&J shorts! Funny, rousing, goofy & silly!! Tom serenade to Black Kitten is classic!

When I voted, I had to give this one a perfect "10". I love the put-downs Toots tosses to Tom--especially the one about his being a "goon from Saskatoon"! And it's also fun to see and hear him talking. The hot-foot is a delight--particularly Tom's delayed reaction to it: "Say! Something IS burning around here!"

Love the fluid animation and the creative wit. Classic Tom and Jerry.
