Peachy Cobbler

Yet another Avery masterpiece. Although, not quite on the same linear plane as the others. Basically, anyone who says that "Tex was only wacky and couldn't handle drama" should watch this cartoon and SHUT UP!!!
Daws Butler's reading of the narration is perfect. Ironically, even though it was originally conceived as a spoof of dramatic narration is schmaltzy Christmas films, it actually works better than any narration I've ever heard. Once again, Tex is proven to be a genius beyond mortal comprehension.

Any cartoon directed by Tex Avery is guaranteed to be funny and The Peachy Cobbler is no exception. It's another one of my personal favourites. Some of the antics the elves get up to while making the shoes for the cobbler are hilarious.Well worth a view if you can get to see it.Highly recommended.
