Jane is funny without George

Jane takes driving lessons from a nervous instructor (voiced by Howard Morris, Ernest T. Bass of 'Andy Griffith'). His commentary (and hers as well) is without a doubt some of the funniest dialogue from a cartoon that isn't a Warner Bros. offering.
Jane runs into an object with a deafening crash.
"I would have been disappointed if she had missed that one!" the instructor wails.
"You're a much better teacher than my husband is," Jane says, oblivious to his state.
Sexist? By today's standards, yes.
Jane gives him no nevermind, but George chauvenistically states a woman's place is at home more than once and bemoans women drivers, regardless of all the fender benders he himself has had in other episodes.
There is even a peculiar moment with George behind a platinum blonde driver giving odd hand signals. George will contact her on a car speaker and she responds.
The Jetsons has been prophetic about so much, could this have been a prophecy for the CB, . . . or something more?
In the end, it would be Henry Orbit who puts things in perspective. George would lose with his way of thinking.
Funny tho, Henry's girlfriend will give up her job to work with him. Hmmmmmm . . . . . ?

Jane's Driving Lesson 3 out of 5 stars

Jane Jetson is the epitome of non-feminist, ditzy delerium, being so clueless that she doesn't even realize that a convict has stolen the clothes from her driving instructor and assumed his identity! Hilarious hijinx ensue as Jane's driving is so daffy and dangerous that she inadvertently nabs the villain.
