The best part of this episode is definitely the "Eep Opp Ork Ah-Ah" sequence. Not only is it a great John Hubley UPA inspired piece of animation, it even predates the Monkees who supposedly pioneered the music video.
A Hanna-Barbara masterpiece!!

A Date with a Jet Screamer 3 out of 5 stars

This is a "classic" Jetson's episode! Around the time this gem of a cartoon was made, there were many singers, all male groups, girl groups, etc. Baby, Baby, Baby,ah,ah,ah! I think it was loosely based on Elvis Presley, without imitating his voice! But if you look at the women who are backing Jet Screamer up in this cartoon when he goes into his Eep,Opp,Orkk,Ah,Ah song, you'll notice that the outfits that they are wearing reminds me of the way that Motown Artists like the Supremes, Martha And The Vandellas, and so many other girl groups used to dress similar to that style! The classic "beehive" hairdress style, but in a Hanna-Barbera way! Whenever they show this particular Jetsons cartoon...my teenagers come into my bedroom, or wherever I am, and get me to come watch it! It is a one-of-a kind episode, and I just love it! :^)
