Cartoon Cutouts are a Cut UP

This is an incredible animated short using cut out pictures to achive its effect. Predating the Terry Gilliam style of cut out animation of Monyt Pyton fame this was developed by Emanuele Luzzati
to animate characters, and move sets. Using tweezers each head, arm, leg or torso of each character appearing was moved in incriminants then photographed to produce the action. The Comedia'dell Arte classic Pulcinella as the central character and is as much the trickster here as he was in the improvisational theater of old. A must see to be highly amused and delighted.
