America's favorite bad luck bear is all ready for a morning of fishing. The lake is brimming with life as the fish are just waking up and leaping into the air. Being sneaky, Barney entices the fish with a small piece of bait he throws into the lake. The fish eagerly await more but this time Barney is putting food on a hook. Just as he is about cast, a duck flies in and scares the fish away. In addition to scaring away Barney's breakfast, the duck is also annoying. Barney casts his line, and the duck brings it back. At one point the duck points out where a fish is under water. Barney casts his line, but the bait attracts an electric eel. The eel bites the hook and Barney is quickly introduced to 10,000 volts of electricity!

This cartoon shows Barney at his best... catching the worst of luck. Good cartoon!
