Ko-Ko's Reward
Reviewed by: Ray Pointer Posted: June 07, 2003
Max has his little "daughter" with him in the office. She wants to go to the playground. Max promises to take her after he finishes his work. The girl become impatient, and finding some reducing liquid, pours it on herself, which causes her to shrink down to the size of a mouse. Thinking she has been kidnapped, Max sends KoKo and Fitz out to find her. Being reduced, the girl is about run into a cartoon drawing of a haunted house, while KoKo and Fitz search an amusement park. Some nice scenes with KoKo interacting with live action footage of a merry-go-round, teeter-totter, and ferris wheel follow.
KoKo and Fitz return to the office and search through the cartoon haunted house. After a series of ghost gags, ad figure in a black shroud corners them, only to reveal it is Max's "daughter." She runs out, and resumes her original position on the chair, returning to full size. Max turns and sees her there at last, and says, "KoKo and Fitz found you, now reward them." To this, she gives them eacha kiss in a nicely composited scene using live action and animation.
