Max's associate, George is finishing an illustration of a deserted old house. Max opens up his fountain pen and releases Koko. Magically George pulls the illustration forward into three dimensional space. Max sends Koko and Fitz over to investigate the house. Inside they meet up with ghosts and skeletons while George torments them by banging a tom-tom, shaking the house, and blowing air into it with a bellows. Koko runs out and asks Max for help to battle these forces. Max shakes his pen seeral times, ejecting a chorus of Kokos who gang up on George and give him a taste of his own medicine. An interesting reworking of some of the concepts in THE OUIJA BOARD (1920).
