This is the all time classic cartoon about the end of the world. Koko and Fitz are drawn walking around the world. They come to a procenium marked "Control of the Earth." Curious, the enter. Inside is a bigh control room with levers that operate night and day, rain, and sunshine. On the other side of the room, Fitz isa fascinated by a huge lever with a warning, "Do Not Touch. This lever will bring the end of the world." Naturally he wants to play with it, and Koko tries to stop him, but Fitz manages to pull the lever anyway, bringing on a series of lightning storms that bring the Sun and Moon together, only to have the Sun blow its hot breath onto the Moon and turn it to melted cheese. A volcano turns into a face smoking a cigar. An earthquake causes a section of the ground to drip in front of Fitz. Koko tires to bury his head in the ground only to meet the Devil. In live action reality, the people are scurrying around like ants. The Earth starts tilting and two men hold onto each other to keep from falling off. Buildings in Manhattan fall and pile up in the street. The city dissolves away into the ocean, with Koko and Fitz being rock around on the floating desk until they dissolve back into puddles of ink.
