Ko-Ko's Klock
Reviewed by: Ray Pointer Posted: December 02, 2001
Max is working late at night, in nightshirt and cap. He produces a beautiful drawing of Koko.
He looks over at his alarm clock and notices the minute hand is missing. He tells KOKO to wake him at 5 AM, and squeezes him into the shape of a minute hand and places him on the clock.
Max sleeps away with a nice cartoony effect of his sleeping cap rising and falling with his snores. As Max sleeps, Koko jumps off from the clock and takes Max's clothes one piece at a time and dresses him while he is still asleep under the covers.
Now dressed, Koko erases the bedroom background leaving Max reclining in midair completely dress. Koko then sketches in the exterior of the house with a car parked in front and Max asleep on the running board. Koko returns to the clock and the alarm rings. Max wakes up refreshed, fully dressed and ready for the day.
A wonderful twist on the format wher Koko is a benevelent servant and not a menace to Max.
