This is the last of the GABBY series. It's dawn and Gabby is snuffing out the street lamps. He passes the Mayor's house and see that he is preparing for a camping trip. Althought the Mayor want to avoid Gabby, he manages to "horn in" and take over. Gabby is a verbal expert on everything and accomplished at nothing. He struggles to pitch a tent that automatically inflates. He takes over as the Mayor tries to chop a tree, and it falls on the Mayor and his tent. Gabby struggles to assemble an army cot and gets wrapped inside like a candy kiss. He finally tries to settle everything by tearing of a piece of the tent to make a hammock--attaching each end to what looks like two branches that are actually the antlers of a moose. This results in a wild chase sequence with Gabby going on a wild ride in the moose hammock. Gabby then is sling shotted into the trees. By evening, the Mayor has recoverd his tent and is safely asleep. Meanwhile, Gabby tries to sleep atop a pine tree witha woodpecker tapping his bald dome. Some interesting animation and nice touches to what had become the formula for the series.
