Originally announced by Disney as a project to be made without the involvement of character creators, writers, producers, artists or animators of the original two features, Pixar Animation. In January 2006, production was announced to be moved to Pixar Studios following Pixar's aquisiction by Disney.
Bradley Raymond was the original director for this project.

"A Third Toy Story" (Working Title)" and "The Untitled Second Toy Story Sequel (Working Title).
