Production Notes:
Recorded on 4-2-60.
Although this was the first episode to air, it was the second one created. (Other than the pilot episode, "The Flagstones," "The Swimming Pool" was the first.)
Wilma and Betty's prominent chins, seen early in the series, would later disappear.
Alan Reed (the voice of Fred) invented Fred's signature phrase "Yabba Dabba Doo!", which is heard here for the first time.
In this episode only, Betty wears a bone in her hair.
