Recorded on 4-1-60.
This was the first episode to be produced (other than the pilot, "The Flagstones"), but not the first to air; "The Flintstone Flyer" had that honor.
The lunch/swimming-pool/spear-fishing scene was seen earlier in "The Flagstones (screen test)").
Notice the much scruffier look of the characters.
Wilma's voice is more nasal and reminiscent of Audrey Meadows in "The Honeymooners."
See those sandals that Wilma is wearing at Fred's party? This is probably the only time in the whole series that anyone wore shoes.
Daws Butler has also been credited as the voice of the second policeman.
