Much as the Cheshire Cat disappeared in Lewis Carroll's novel "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland," Butch disappears in one scene, leaving only his smile, eyes and cigar.
Tom putting cigarette ash in Jerry's face and making him do a blackface dance has been deleted from modern releases.
Songs: "Love That Pup" (Scott Bradley), "Broadway Rhythm" (Nacio Herb Brown-Arthur Freed), "Lovely Lady" (Jimmy McHugh-Ted Koehler), "Three Letters in the Mail Box" (Walter Jurmann-Paul Francis Webster), "Over the Rainbow" (Harold Arlen-E.Y. Harburg), "You Were Meant for Me" (Nacio Herb Brown-Arthur Freed)
