Production Notes:
Contrary to rumors- often credited to Tex Avery himself- Tex Avery did not voice Meathead in this cartoon.
A shot in which Meathead is left in blackface when a apple explodes on him has been removed from current releases.
On April 1, 1997, Cartoon Network ran this cartoon repeatedly from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. as part of an April Fool's Day joke that Screwy Squirrel had taken over the network.
