Production Notes:
Production on "Journey Back to Oz" began in 1964, although the film wasn't released until a decade later.
The film was re-released as a holiday special, with Bill Cosby (as the "Host Wizard") added in new live-action sequences on ABC-TV on December 5, 1976.
Liza Minnelli, the voice of Dorothy, is the daughter of Judy Garland, who portrayed Dorothy in the classic 1939 feature film.
Aunt Em is voiced by Margaret Hamilton, who portrayed The Wicked Witch Of The West in the original 1939 Wizard Of Oz.
