Production Notes:
This is the first cartoon where a fanfare is heard when Popeye eats his spinach.
The original black and white cartoon has been colorized. This appears to be the first POPEYE with Mae Questel providing the Zasu Pitts type voice that became associated with the Olive Oyl character.
