Created by the "god of manga," Japan's Osamu Tezuka, in the early 1950s, "Astro Boy" found great acclaim and success around the world as an animated television series first aired in Japan in 1963. In the United States, it quickly became a top syndicated show.
This is the second CG-animated feature film from Imagi Studios, and Astro Boy's first appearance in CG animation.
