Additional Information about the Cartoon Special Archie And His New Pals

This CBS prime-time special was sponsored by Pals Vitamins, and the Pals Vitamins logo was used in the title card. Also, the special was shown on CBS on the Sunday night following the Saturday premiere of "The Archie Comedy Hour."

This special was rerun in the "The Archie Comedy Hour."

The special included a unique Archie's song in the middle of the show called "You Need An Image". This song was never released on any album. During the closing credits of the show, the song "Get On The Line" was featured which was included on The Archies third album, "Jingle Jangle". It is interesting to note that this is a different mix of the song than what is on the album, as some of Toni Wine's vocals are missing.
