Although The Brak Show takes place somewhere in outer space, its setting looks an awful lot like any American suburb circa 1965. While attending Learnmore High School, Brak and his best pal Zorak get into all sorts of trouble, like stealing the mascot of Learnmore's rival, overfeeding a neighbor's fish and stealing a magic candy bar. Brak's Dad, a small human who loves to give nonsensical advice, and Mom, a perfectly coiffed domestic goddess, provide a pretty stable home life for Brak. In the end, everything turns out just fine- and there's usually time for a song or two.
