Raoul Barré's last animation project.
A Canadian, Barré returned to Montreal in about 1930, founding an animation school. He hired gathered young student animators to work on this film, which he hoped would become a co-production with France. They learned their trade by working on this short film.
Barré died in 1932 before he could finish the film. In 2004, fragments were compiled into a four-minute film by members of the Cinematheque Quebecoise.
