Cartoon Production Information:

Based on the best-selling picture puzzle book created by artist Martin Handford.

The short-run series- only 13 episodes- followed the adventures of the spectacled, gangly, turtlenecked youth. Waldo is an unremarkable, ordinary fellow who just happens to lead a remarkable, extraordinary life. He loves to travel, and with the aid of his magic walking stick, his dog Woof, and the Wizard Whitebeard, Waldo takes us through time and space in his fantastic adventures. He uses his powers of observation and charm as he attempts to fulfill the bizarre tasks set by the Wizard.

A unique part of the show is the "Where's Waldo Minute" when the frame freezes on an intensely detailed, action-packed drawing, and the audience is given one minute to find him.

This series was titled "Where's Wally?" in the United Kingdom and New Zealand.

To meet the needs of international viewers in the USA and Canada, a second audio track was recorded using the same vocal actors ? the name "Wally" was replaced entirely with "Waldo", the name of the books' character in the USA and Canada.

Traditional, Hand-drawn Animation.
