Additional Information about the TV Cartoon The Magnificent Severed

Produced entirely with Flash animation.

Cartoonist John Callahan, the creator and executive producer of this black comedy, was himself paralyzed by a car accident at age 21.

With animators in Toronto, Melbourne and Perth able to access materials from a shared Web site, work on the series was able to progress around the clock. Animators in Canada and Australia worked with elements stored on a designated database, and individual scenes were developed instantaneously by both the Australian and Canadian directors.
