Additional Information about the Theatrical Cartoon Music Man

The first British animated Technicolor film.

This cartoon led to one of the greatest personal and professional partnerships in the history of animation.

Animators John Halas and Joy Batchelor met on the job while this cartoon was in production. They married and, in 1940, formed their own studio, Halas and Batchelor Cartoon Films.

The "H & B" partnership ended only with Batchelor's death in 1991.
