A 3-D computer-animated television special based on the series of Miss Spider children's books, written and illustrated by David Kirk.
"It's good to do projects like this because it allows me to still be creative," said a nearly seven-months-pregnant Brooke Shields, the voice of Miss Spider.
"The hardest thing, I think, for me about being pregnant is the time away from my work. But luckily, I had this project to go in on. So it was fun to sort of do things where it didn't matter that my belly was big," she added in an interview.
According to Shields, her twin seven-year-old nieces are big fans of the Miss Spider books.
"You spend time watching this type of television and this type of video that they always want to have in the television. So, I think, my motivation came through them, and also just wanting to start a family," she said of the project. "I think it's really nice to be involved with something that is so positive."
