Cartoon Production Information:


Created, written and animated by Tony Collingwood during his time at the UK's National Film and Television School. It was there that Collingwood met producer Christopher O'Hare. The pair teamed up to make "Rarg" a success.

The story took over four and a half years to make.

First aired on PBS' Long Ago & Far Away on September 22, 1990.

A truly precious and timeless piece. I cannot think of a more appropriate short film for 5-8 yr olds. It produces wonderful comments and exchanges as you watch it with your children about life, reality, dreams, fate....and it's fun to repeat it again...  (read more)
