The first fully animated program from the team that would become Filmation Associates, which was formed later.
Each story comprised five five-minute episodes, which could be combined into a half-hour show or programmed individually by stations.
Series was originally produced by Truline Productions, which closed down operations before production began. Paramount Television asked Lou Scheimer and Hal Sutherland of Jiro Enterprises (later to become Filmation Associates) about continuing the production. Cartoons were produced in 1962-63. The series aired in 1963; Filmation Associates was credited as the production designers.
