Production Notes:

This was the last cartoon that Hanna-Barbera produced for The ABC Saturday Superstar Movie, and the first cartoon in the second season of this series. It was a pilot film for an animated spin-off of the 1965-68 live-action series "Lost In Space." Unfortunately, a regular animated series was never produced.

Of the original cast, only Jonathan Harris returned to play Dr. Smith.
