Cartoon Production Information:


At the start of World War II, the Disney Studios were taken over by the military as part of the war effort. Taking advantage of the talent that hadn't been shipped off to the war, Disney produced a number of shorts for the armed forces, basically educational and morale shorts. This was one of those shorts.

I saw this animation movie in 1956 at the age of 8, when my father, a Belgian military pilot and instructor used it to teach meteorology to Belgian pilots. Today, I teach meteorology to private pilots in Norway and I remember with great passion this...  (read more)
