Eddy's first and best friend at the Carnival is Marvin- a gentle, funny and very talented horse who can dance to the beat of the band. He is the leader of the pack of animal stars. When trouble stirs up- as it always does- from places like Lyman Slime's glittery "Slime Carnival," Eddy and the animals are always on the ready to help Fast Talkin' Jack and his partner Edna to prove that honesty, integrity and a class act will always beat a flashy showoff who doesn't truly care about his customers or crew in the end.
Part of a three-hour, Saturday block on PBS called The PBS Kids Bookworm Bunch, consisting of seven different segments, each based on a popular children's book series. Each segment features an engaging variety of entertaining animation and live action, built around various curricula of knowledge, learning and values. Children's books in the reading series include Corduroy, Elliot Moose, Timothy Goes to School, Seven Little Monsters, George Shrinks and Marvin the Tap Dancing Horse.
