Cartoon Production Information:


Boston Quackie is, of course, a parody of Boston Blackie. Inspector Faraway is a parody of Boston's police foil, Inspector Farraday.

Peter Lorre is caricatured.

The 1946-1955 "Looney Tunes" theme music is used for the beginning in this short. The "Merrie Melodies" title card is used in place of the "Looney Tunes" title card at the end.

Not the best Daffy...Timing seems off and the gags are for the most part flat.
Needed the Avery touch but got Mckimson instead. Not a bad toon by any stretch, just so-so. Nice color touches.
