Additional Information about the Theatrical Cartoon Catch As Cats Can (Video)

Sylvester is not yet named in this cartoon. He has a substantially different voice in this cartoon.

Sylvester, the cat, having eaten the Bing Crosby parrot, stands on his perch, smokes a pipe and quips, "There's nothin' like vitamins" After he says this, an abrupt fade occurs.

The second of only two Sylvester cartoons directed by Art Davis. The first Sylvester cartoon animated by Herman Cohen, and the second of only two animated by Basil Davidovich.

The only Sylvester cartoon for which Dave Monahan was a writer.

Sylvester gets the upper hand at the end of this cartoon. Some other ones are: "Claws for Alarm," "Yankee Dood It," "Here Today, Gone Tamale," "Trip for Tat," "A Message To Gracias," "Freudy Cat" and "Doggone Cats."
