This was the first of several "wrap-around" films, in which the story device becomes a showcase for highlights from earlier cartoons. Scenes are excerpted from "Tee for Two" (1945), "Mouse Trouble" (1944), "Solid Serenade" (1946) and "The Yankee Doodle Mouse" (1943).
The ending of this cartoon is reused in "Matinee Mouse" (1966).
