Production Notes:

In the original broadcast, twice after Lucy Van Pelt pulls away the football and makes Charlie Brown miss his kicks, Peppermint Patty Reichardt exclaimed, "You really goofed up that play, Chuck!" However, hordes of angry viewers protested (because C.B. was so obviously not at fault), and in subsequent showings and the Paramount video release, these exclamations have been dubbed out (although you can hear something if you listen closely). However, there are several other complete scenes where Peppermint Patty unfairly berates Charlie Brown.

First time The Little Red-Haired Girl is given a name (Heather!) and seen!! The design decisions on how The Little Red-Haired Girl would look, relied on the show's animators, not Charles Schulz.

Traditional, Hand-drawn Animation.
