Each episode began with the song "One Bad Apple."
The show also had a laugh track.
The series ran through September 1, 1974.
Silhouetting is used when the Osmonds perform songs, which end with applause. Rankin/Bass utilized computer imagery for the silhouettes of the Osmonds dancing. "I think this was one of the first times any type of computer was used in an animated project," according to storyboard artist Don Duga.
