Created by Craig McCracken while he was still in film school. At that stage it was only black and white pencils, and then later it was accepted by Spike and Mike's Festival of Animation, and they sponsored the money to have it colored. It was never aired by a network, but had this theatrical release only.
When released to home video, the name was changed to Whoopass Stew!.
