Twelve years later, when Sara was ready to fight evil, Wildfire brought her back to Dar-Shan to bring down her nemesis. The two heroes were helped by a boy named Dorin, another horse named Brutus, and a farmer named Alvinar. Sara's father, John, and his friend Ellen provided moral support from back on planet earth. Diabolyn's only ally was her bumbling sidekick Dweedle.
The voice cast was strong, featuring John Vernon, Billy Barty, June Lockhart, Jessica Walter, and Rene Auberjonois. The show's music, too, was first-rate, composed by Grammy-winner Jimmy Webb. Alas, only thirteen original episodes were produced, leaving Wildfire devotees to seek solace in such other princess and pony shows as She-Ra: Princess of Power.
