Production Notes:

The gremlins are caricatures of the Warner Bros. aniamtion staff. Lew Lehr is also caricatured. Among those are Robert Clampett, Chuck Jones, Friz Freleng, Melvin Millar, Michael Sasanoff, Michael Maltese, Carl Stalling, Henry Binder and Ray Katz. Producer Leon Schlesinger is shown tapping the heads off of rivets with a hammer as he is being raised by a rope. It is Katz who is tapped on the forehead with a hammer at the end of the scene featuring Schlesinger.

Notice Hitler's ridiculous speech in the first minute of this short. Obviously the language he is speaking in isn't German, but note how the following words just randomly appear in his speech: "Sauerbraten", "Zoot-suit", the name of director "Friz Freleng", the phrase "What's Cooking Doc", "Sauerkraut", "Gesuntheit." The complete wackiness of his speech makes this short all the more fun to watch.

Traditional, Hand-drawn Animation.
